About.

I am a ceramic artist based in Glasgow, Scotland, specialising in both functional and ornamental vessels crafted on the pottery wheel. I work with a variety of clay bodies, including terracotta, stoneware, and porcelain, with a keen focus on technique and material. My journey in ceramics began in 2014, and I have been a practicing ceramicist for the past eight years.

My work explores the tension between the artist and the material, leaving imprints of intuitive movement through expressive mark-making and/or visual traces of the artist. I am fascinated by the properties and boundaries of each clay type and the need to constantly adapt my understanding, technique, and movements. Ultimately, I create for the joy and challenge of the craft, approaching each new project with inquisitiveness and curiosity.

I currently manage a pottery studio in Glasgow City Centre, where I teach others how to make their own pottery alongside my own practice.
